Hannah Mazur

The goal was to create posters introducing a series of Poetry Slam events on the works of Paul Laurence Dunbar, Edgar Allan Poe, and Allen Ginsberg. I used the bird as a unifying metaphor, but treated it differently for each individual author, i.e. The Raven for Poe, "flipping the bird" for Ginsberg, and freeing the "caged bird" of thought for Dunbar. An animation was then created as an advertisement for the event.
